TC Service’s cutting centre specialises in linear motion, implemented in 2016 and then perfected, it consists of a panel saw and head grinding machine. These machines allow us to deliver customised cuts of linear guideways, ball screws, trapezoidal screws and shafts.

Panel saw

It is a precision tool that allows the guideway to be cut cleanly and accurately, while maintaining the required tolerances. The use of the panel saw is essential to obtain a precise length and perpendicular cut, which is crucial for the proper operation of the linear system. The panel saws are equipped with special blades or abrasive discs, which guarantee a clean cut, without burrs or deformations.

Head grinding

Head grinding is a finishing process that is performed when the application requires multiple guideway couplings. It serves to make the cut surfaces parallel. This process ensures that the ends are perfectly parallel, allowing proper installation and operation of the carriage along the rail. Grinding eliminates any burrs or imperfections, ensuring that the guideway retains its accuracy and reliability even after cutting.

The cutting and grinding process is supervised by highly qualified personnel who check the quality of machining for each guideway or screw, guaranteeing maximum precision, fast and punctual times.
